Supporting the broader team, the Middle Office financial planning and analysis role is a diverse and dynamic mix of developing business insights for the core business as well as special projects aimed at supporting the ongoing growth of the business.

You are organised, efficient and thorough withdeep modelling skillsthat allow you to develop insightful reporting for the team.
You will be proactive, and engaging and enjoy a new challenge, requesting help when unsure but self-motivated and willing to find a solution.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the finance, deal and distribution teams to build and improve on financial models to forecast cashflow, balance sheets, profit and performance of our lending and funds management business
Help support the build out of centralised capital management and treasury capability for the business
Deliver ad-hoc and monthly reporting and analysis for the Management team and the Board including commentary on trends and performance
Support each team and senior management with in-depth understanding of the financial and commercial performance drivers for their respective areas




Ensure consistent, accurate and meaningful reporting and analysis is produced to specified deadlines and client expectations including ensuring the accuracy of regular reporting.
Support and drive liquidity and payments processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
Preparation and or quality review of FP&A;, deal and fund attribution models.
Requirements
2 + years proven experience delivering insightful budgeting, forecasting and management accounting
Qualifications in any relevant discipline including Accounting, Finance, Actuarial, Mathematics.
Relevant experience in financial services a must, ideally a lending business
Advanced Excel skills, specifically building excel models to forecast profit, cashflows and asset and liability profiles
Exposure to Business Analytics software an advantage
Ability to extract large volumes of financial data, interpret and undertake trend analysis
Have a strong attention to detail, and well refined analytical and conceptual skills
Strong financial acumen with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment, experience working with cross functional teams is desirable (such as loan management, finance, distribution and deal teams).
The successful candidate will need to be an energetic, driven and focused individual.
Remuneration will be commensurate with relevant experience.
