The Chance

ROUSSOS Recruitment is partnering with a quick-growing civil contractor entering its next phase after securing a in new project valued above $60M.

The business is looking for a Senior Project Engineer who wants to take on greater responsibility, work across significant civil projects and continue progressing towards Project Management.

With capability spanning civil construction, structural concreting and large-scale landscaping, you will join a team where people are supported to develop and given opportunities as the business grows.

The Role

As Senior Project Engineer, you will take a leading role across the technical and operational delivery of civil projects while working closely with experienced Project Managers and site teams.

Key responsibilities include:
Leading engineering activities across all stages of project delivery
Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
Managing project programmes and supporting commercial outcomes




Ensuring compliance with design, specifications and safety requirements
Driving quality assurance and WHS processes
Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and delivery partners
Supporting and mentoring junior engineering team members
Taking on increasing project responsibility as you progress towards Project Management

You will ideally bring:
A relevant Civil Engineering qualification
Senior Project Engineer experience within civil infrastructure
Strong technical and project delivery capability
Commercial awareness and understanding of project outcomes
Confidence coordinating subcontractors and site teams
Solid client and stakeholder communication skills
Experience supporting or mentoring junior engineers
A genuine ambition to progress into a Project Manager role
