About the opportunity

Charterhouse Medical is seeking Vocationally Registered General Practitioners for shifts across four Medicare Urgent Care Clinics in Adelaide.

The clinics provide accessible treatment for patients requiring urgent medical attention that does not require presentation to a hospital emergency department.

Weekday morning, weekday evening and weekend shifts are available, allowing you to nominate your preferred locations and availability.

Norwood Medicare Urgent Care Clinic
Marion Medicare Urgent Care Clinic – Oaklands Park
Royal Park Medicare Urgent Care Clinic
Elizabeth Medicare Urgent Care Clinic

All four clinics operate seven days per week from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm.

Pay rates
Weekday mornings: $225 per hour
Weekday evenings: $275 per hour
Weekends: $300 per hour

The role




Assess and treat patients presenting with urgent, non-life-threatening conditions
Deliver safe and effective patient-centred care
Work alongside an established clinical and administrative team
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Escalate or refer patients when clinically appropriate

Essential requirements
Vocational registration as a General Practitioner
FRACGP, FACRRM or equivalent specialist GP recognition
Current AHPRA specialist registration in general practice
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a quick-paced clinical workplace

Urgent care or emergency medicine experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
