Mechanical Fitters | FIFO | Pilbara

Clarity Partners is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for upcoming maintenance and shutdown opportunities across major mining operations in the Pilbara.

This is an chance for experienced mechanical tradespeople to work across fixed plant and mineral processing equipment, supporting shutdown maintenance, repairs and component change-outs within established mining operations.

The Work

You will be completing mechanical maintenance across fixed plant and mineral processing equipment, with work potentially including:
Crushers and screens
Conveyors and associated components
Pumps and pipework
Chutes and hoppers
Mills and processing equipment
General fixed plant maintenance
Component change-outs
Repairs and shutdown maintenance
Planned and reactive maintenance activities

Key Responsibilities
Carry out mechanical fitting and maintenance activities safely and efficiently
Complete shutdown maintenance and equipment repairs




Perform component change-outs and mechanical installations
Inspect, troubleshoot and repair fixed plant equipment
Work to site procedures, safety requirements and maintenance standards
Work collaboratively with supervisors, trades and site personnel
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and protected work practices

What We're Looking For
Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
Previous fixed plant and/or mining maintenance experience
Previous shutdown experience highly regarded
Experience working with mineral processing or heavy industrial equipment
Strong commitment to safety and quality
Ability to work effectively within a team setting
Ability to complete required site mobilisation and compliance requirements
