We are currently seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and reliable Night Shift Loader to join our Structural Steel team based in Direk, South Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable, nationally recognised company and contribute to a quick-paced, supportive team setting.

Responsibilities:
Operating a variety of forklifts, including multi directional units
Load delivery vehicles in a timely, protected and efficient manner, including manual handling
Verify the accuracy of shipments against packing lists and dispatch dockets
Ensure the proper handling and storage of goods to prevent damage.
Maintain an organised work area and adhere to safety protocols during loading operations
Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to facilitate smooth operations




Inspect all loaded items for quality assurance before departure
Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor immediately
Pick goods for order fulfilment
General warehouse duties as requested at times

Requirements:
A strong understanding of OHS and warehouse safety requirements
Previous experience in the steel or manufacturing industry (highly desirable)
Current Forklift Licence (LF) (necessary)
Gantry Crane Licence (CB) (highly desirable)
Experience using scanners and inventory systems
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
Good communication skills – verbal and written
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Willingness to undergo and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
A positive attitude, with a proactive and safety-first mindset
