I’m seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for multiple ongoing roles across the Sydney metro region. Working within manufacturing and industrial sites, you'll be joining an established maintenance team completing a mix of service, breakdown, and project work across a variety of plant and equipment. These roles offer genuine long term, consistent work with a reputable operation that values reliability and trade skill.

Systems you'll be working on:
Conveyor systems, rollers, idlers, and drive units
Gearboxes, couplings, and drive shafts
Pumps (centrifugal and positive displacement) and associated seals
Bearings, bushes, and rotating equipment
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems, cylinders, and valves
Compressors and air handling equipment
Packaging, processing, and production line machinery
Fixed and mobile plant as required on site

Responsibilities:




Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on plant, machinery, and mechanical equipment
Responding to breakdowns and completing fault-finding to identify root causes
Repairing, replacing, and adjusting mechanical components including bearings, seals, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, and drive systems
Assisting with installation and commissioning of recent equipment and project works
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, manuals, and maintenance schedules
Using precision measuring tools and following correct fitting and alignment procedures
Completing job cards, maintenance logs, and reports accurately
Working safely around plant and equipment, including isolation, lockout/tagout, and permit-to-work procedures
Liaising with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime and prioritise work

Licences required:
Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting
White Card
Working at Heights
Confined Space
EWP
