Ryan’s Fresh Market – Shepparton
We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Retail Team Member to join our fresh produce team.
This is a practical, varied role working behind the scenes and across the store. You’ll be involved in preparing and cutting fresh produce, managing stock, keeping our cool rooms organised and helping keep the store running smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing
Cutting and preparing vegetables using a large knife
Packaging prepared vegetables ready for sale
Receiving and organising fresh produce
Rotating stock and maintaining product quality
Keeping cool rooms and work areas clean and organised
Moving stock around the store and warehouse
Operating a forklift when required
Helping keep the shop floor stocked
Following food safety and hygiene standards
Helping wherever needed as part of the wider store team
What We're Looking For
We want someone who is:
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Comfortable with physical, hands-on work
Confident and secure using a large knife
Organised and takes pride in their work
Happy working in a rapid-paced environment
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Willing to learn and take direction
Happy to get stuck in and help wherever needed
A current forklift licence isn't essential, but highly regarded.
Experience in fresh produce or food retail is highly regarded, but we’re more interested in the right attitude, work ethic and reliability.
Hours
4–5 shifts per week
24–32 hours per week, with potential to increase
Early starts from 5am
Weekday and weekend work required
