About The Organisation

This is a nice prospect for a suitably qualified accountant to join a reputable industry leader with a national footprint for a 3-month contract. You will report to an experienced finance leader and work alongside a supportive, friendly finance team. This role is office-based with in office parking available. Ideally, you would be willing to commit to the term of the contract, and there is the possibility the contract could be extended.

Tasks and Duties
Assist with preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Analysis of financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
Monthly variance analysis and investigate discrepancies.
Financial analysis, which includes margin and cost analysis.
Assist with month-end closing processes.
Prepare accruals, prepayments, journals, reconciliations and other month-end adjustments.
Assist with financial planning, analysis and modelling.




Financial analysis and management reports as required by the senior management team.
Ad hoc projects and assignments.

Skills and Experience
Ideally, you will have qualified qualifications such as CA, CPA, or CIMA.
Positive Excel skills and experience using a large ERP system.
Ability to analyse financial data, variances, costs and business performance.
Good communication skills and the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
The ability to converse with departmental heads and operational leaders.
Ability to multitask and manage your workload to ensure deadlines are met.
Problem-solving and time management skills.
