About the role

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Timber Systems Designer / Detailer to join our team in Somersby, NSW. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for an individual with Timber Systems Design experience to take the next step and grow with a leading manufacturer.

What you'll be doing
Producing detailed designs and shop drawings for wall frame, truss and floor system designs
Collaborating with Engineers, building designers and construction teams to ensure design requirements are met
Conducting analyses to optimise timber design on residential and commercial projects
Preparing detailed cost estimates
Providing technical support and advice to clients throughout the construction process
Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices

What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years of experience in timber system design
Robust technical skills in either Pryda, Mitek or Multinail software
Proficiency in interpreting architectural and engineering drawings
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills




Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
