About the role - MUST HAVE CAB VISION - NOT NEGOTIABLE

Kenwick Cabinet Works is seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join our team in Kenwick, WA. As a full time role, you will be responsible for producing detailed plans and drawings for our cabinet making projects, ensuring the efficient and accurate realisation of our clients' visions.

What you'll be doing
Interpreting client design briefs and specifications to create comprehensive technical drawings and plans
Utilising computer-aided design (MUST HAVE CabinetVision) software to produce accurate drawings, optimise and send to CNC machine
Collaborating closely with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and can be efficiently manufactured
Documenting all design iterations and changes to maintain a explicit audit trail
Providing support and guidance to the team on technical matters as required
Continuously seeking to improve processes and standards to drive efficiencies
Order all materials to complete job

What we're looking for




Proven experience as a Draftsperson or similar design role, ideally within the cabinet making or construction industry
Excellent command of CabinetVision software
Strong technical drawing and documentation skills with an eye for detail
Ability to interpret client requirements and translate them into practical, functional designs
Problem-solving mindset with a cooperative approach to working with the production team
Excellent communication
