Port Pirie Regional Health Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its theatre team on a contract basis. Operating across two theatres Monday to Friday, the service handles a diverse surgical schedule spanning orthopaedic procedures, general surgery, urology, gynaecology, and ENT. This is an opportunity to work in a diverse surgical environment where your clinical skills and composure directly support patient outcomes across multiple specialties.
Diverse surgical exposure across orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, gynaecology, and ENT
Contract position based in Port Pirie with a structured Monday to Friday schedule
Work alongside a skilled theatre team in a regional health service setting

Preferred Requirements
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification




Demonstrated competence in triage assessment and prioritisation
Experience working in a theatre or perioperative setting
Robust clinical communication and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team
Proficiency with theatre protocols, instrument management, and aseptic technique

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated experience in perioperative nursing
Additional certifications in theatre nursing or surgical specialties are advantageous
