Port Pirie Regional Health Service operates a dedicated satellite renal dialysis unit providing care for reliable, lower-complexity patients across South Australia. The service is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the renal team on a contract basis. Working within a four-chair dialysis unit that operates six days a week, you'll deliver direct patient care alongside a trained nursing team, with support from a visiting nephrologist and local renal specialists. Preferred Requirements
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
Experience in renal nursing or dialysis care, or demonstrated willingness to develop this specialisation
Ability to work collaboratively within a small, multidisciplinary team
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills, particularly with patients requiring ongoing dialysis support
Reliable and adaptable approach to roster management across a six-day operating week
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
Post-graduate qualification or certification in renal nursing or nephrology nursing
Completion of relevant career development in dialysis care or vascular access management
