The Grade 1 Speech Pathology Inpatient Rotation role includes rotations through Geriatric Evaluation and Management (GEM), Rehabilitation and Acute settings, typically of four months' duration (rotation length may vary according to service requirements). As part of a team-oriented and flexible team, the successful candidate may be required to work across sites from time to time, offering the chance to broaden clinical experience and contribute to high-quality patient care across the service. The role will be supported by a Grade 2 Speech Pathologist working in the same service. You will have regular supervision and professional development to build the skills needed to be an independent therapist.

The Grade 1 Speech Pathologist provides evidence-based, person-centred care to patients with a broad range of communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders. Speech Pathologists work closely with the multidisciplinary team and enjoy robust teamwork and collaboration.
