Are you hands-on, mechanically minded and experienced working with pipe processing equipment?
We are currently looking for a reliable Trade Assistant / Workshop Labourer to join a busy workshop based in Richlands.
This role will primarily focus on the day-to-day processing and preparation of smaller pipework, helping the workshop team keep up with ongoing production demands.
What You'll Be Doing
Cutting, roll grooving and threading pipework
Operating roll groovers and pipe threading machines
Using pedestal drills and other workshop machinery
Measuring and preparing pipework to required specifications
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
Assisting with general pipework and component preparation
Completing work in line with daily production requirements
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop
Supporting the wider workshop team when required
About You We're looking for someone practical, reliable and comfortable working in a hands-on workshop environment.
Ideally, you'll have:
Previous experience as a Trade Assistant, Workshop Labourer or similar
Experience cutting,
roll grooving and/or threading pipe
Confidence operating workshop machinery and using hand and power tools
Good attention to detail and ability to follow measurements and instructions
Solid commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to work independently and keep up with daily production requirements
Good reliability and punctuality
Forklift licence preferred but not essential
Experience within pipe fabrication, mechanical, plumbing, manufacturing or a similar workshop environment would be highly regarded.
