About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Department, you will provide academic leadership and oversight of assigned Social Work courses, ensuring high-quality learning experiences, robust student outcomes and ongoing compliance with Higher Education standards.

You will work closely with academic staff, students and key stakeholders to support course quality, curriculum enhancement and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Provide academic leadership and oversight of Social Work courses.
Support and mentor academic staff to promote excellence in teaching, learning and assessment.
Monitor course delivery to ensure alignment with curriculum, learning outcomes and academic standards.




Lead course review and curriculum enhancement activities.
Support assessment moderation and quality assurance processes.
Monitor student progression, retention and academic performance.
Support students and staff in resolving academic matters in line with policy.
Contribute to academic governance, accreditation, audit and compliance activities.
Prepare reports and documentation for academic committees and governance bodies.
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support course quality and student success.
