Our client is a family-owned Angus beef enterprise producing premium grass-fed beef across two major properties in King Island (TAS) and Scone (NSW). Their 25,000-acre King Island station runs 10,000 breeders in a high-performance, self-replacing herd, known for solid stocking rates and high rainfall. With strong internal progression pathways, they offer a long-term career prospect in one of Australia’s most scenic regions.

The Role
As a Senior Station Hand, you'll be a vital part of daily operations on King Island, supporting zone managers and contributing to high-quality livestock management. Key responsibilities include:
Livestock handling and mustering using quads/buggies (no horses)
Infrastructure maintenance – fencing, water systems, pasture management
Assisting operations across cow-calf and finishing zones
Supporting continuous improvements across a high-DSE, intensive grazing setup

About You
Proven experience in cattle husbandry and low-stress stock handling
General maintenance skills (fencing, water systems, basic mechanical work)
High standards of honesty, accountability, and physical capability
Confidence using farm equipment and following structured grazing plans
A current driver’s licence and full Australian working rights
