Qualified Cook/Chef

The Central Hotel is a family venue, located in Cloncurry in Outback Queensland. We are currently looking for a full time qualified cook/chef who is
motivated, hands-on, with proven experience working in a kitchen team setting.

Salary:

Full-time - $70,000 - $80,000

Responsibilities will include:
Skills in preparing a diverse range of cuisine.
Attention to detail, exceptional food presentation and solid organisational skills.
Stock ordering and control skills.
Maintaining safety and hygiene standards of the kitchen during and after service.
Ability to train kitchen staff to maintain the recipe standards and cooking/preparation procedures.

The perfect candidate:
Trade qualified
At least 2 years relevant experience
Passion for quality and be able to instill these values in others.
Strong work ethic with a hands-on approach.
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
Previous experience in a hotel kitchen highly regarded.
