We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated full-time Practice Manager to join our wonderful team at Forest Hill Veterinary Hospital.
We are a highly regarded, busy, small animal veterinary practice in East Melbourne.
Our clinic is well equipped with all the equipment needed to work up cases to high clinical standards, including digital X-ray, dental X-ray, dedicated surgical suite, IM3 dental base, capnography/Bionet monitoring machine, Ultrasound and endoscopy.

Your responsibilities
Supporting and coaching the team
Ensuring smooth day to day running of the practice
Stock management, rostering,



and other practice administration tasks
Managing business financials with your Regional Manager such as budgeting and P&L; reporting
Identifystaff trainingneeds
Providingexceptional customer service and care to all clients and patients
Local area marketing activities
Growth mindset and the development of new business to business opportunities
About You
A genuine, warm and supportive style that enjoys caring for people who care for animals.
At least 2 years in a practice leadership or head nurse role in a veterinary or animal related field
Be committed to high standards of service excellence and clinical care
Experience with practice management systems or appointment book management skills and are computer confident
Have strong problem solving, decision making and organisational skills
Valuable understanding of people and employment obligationsGood knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations
Experience or interest in change champion and project management
