A significant recent dining destination is preparing to open in Sydney, and we're searching for an accomplished Head Chef to lead it from day one.
Part of an established Australian hospitality group, this brand-current restaurant will bring together premium produce, exceptional seafood and meats, refined technique and contemporary coastal dining.

With a private dining room, statement wine cellar and beautifully considered interiors, this is a venue with genuine ambition and an opportunity for the right chef to put their own stamp on a major new opening.

The Opportunity
As Head Chef, you'll take ownership of the kitchen through pre-opening and beyond, working closely with senior leadership to establish the culinary identity, build your brigade and set the standards that will define the restaurant.
This is a hands-on role for a chef who brings both culinary credibility and strong commercial leadership. You'll have the opportunity to influence menus, suppliers, systems and team culture while delivering the consistency expected of a premium dining operation.
You'll take ownership of:
Leading the kitchen through pre-opening and launch
Building, recruiting and developing a high-performing brigade




Menu development and ongoing culinary direction
Delivering exceptional standards across food quality, presentation and execution
Working with premium seafood, meats and seasonal produce
Managing food cost, labour, rostering, ordering, stock and suppliers
Establishing robust kitchen systems and operational standards
Creating a positive, professional and performance-driven kitchen culture
Collaborating closely with FOH and senior leadership on the overall guest experience

What's On Offer
From $110,000 - $120,000 + Super depending on experience, alongside the opportunity to lead one of Sydney's newest premium restaurant openings.
