Data Engineer / BI & Applications Specialist (Contract) – Melbourne (Hybrid)
Looking for ahands‐on Data & BI specialistwho enjoys working acrossreporting, data engineering, and application supportin a rapid‐paced environment.
We're supporting a leading organisation with acontract opportunity (6–8 months)covering a key role across data, reporting, and business‐critical applications.
What you'll be doing
Build and optimisePower BI & SSRS reportsto support business insights
Work withSQL Server & GCPto map and manage data pipelines
Partner with stakeholders togather requirements and improve processes
SupportUAT, releases, and documentationto ensure smooth delivery
Flexible to support and do occasional On Call support out of business hours
What we're looking for
1–5 years' experience inData / BI / Application Support roles
StrongSQL + Power BI (SSRS ideal)
Exposure toGCP or cloud data environments
Experience inproduction support / incident management
Strong communication skills – able to bridge business & tech
