Shift times: Monday – Friday 1pm – 11:30pm & Saturday 12pm - 6pm
Salary: $35 Per hour + overtime rates + 20% Afternoon Allowance

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced All – Round Factory General Hand / Trades Assistant to join their busy industrial facility operations on the afternoon shift . This is a hands-on role that would be ideal for someone who thrives in a rapid-paced environment and takes pride in keeping things organized and moving efficiently.

Due to the nature of the business you will be required to work the hours stated above this will include Saturday work every week.

Key Responsibilities:
Operating forklifts (counterbalance ) to move goods safely.
Assisting tradesman – electricians and fitters onsiteUsing hand and power tools
Assisting Maintenance team, taking spare parts and other materials




Preventative Maintenance checks
Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the factory
Moving materials within the factory and yard as required
General hand work, assisting other areas within the business as required
Grinding and Oxy cutting
Basic Fitting duties
Welding and Fabrication work - ( if experienced)

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Valid forklift license (e.g., LF in Australia).
Previous welding or fabricating experience highly desirable but not essential
Experience operating forklifts and using warehouse equipment.
Knowledge of procedures and safety regulations.
Basic computer skills or experience
Physically fit as manual handling will be involved
Hand and power tool experience ( Highly Desirable)
Mechanically Minded (Highly Desirable)
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Own Transportation
Must be able to work the required hours ( Saturday Work )
