Our client is seeking a Payroll Officer to join their Accounting and Financial Services team on a temporary basis. This is an ideal chance for someone with solid payroll expertise who wants to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced environment. You'll handle the full spectrum of payroll operations, from processing payments and superannuation contributions through to managing employee onboarding and termination calculations with accuracy and care.

Preferred Requirements
Proven payroll processing experience with demonstrated competency in super payment calculations




Strong understanding of onboarding calculations and the ability to set up recent employee records accurately
Solid knowledge of termination calculations, including final pay and leave entitlements
Familiarity with payroll software and systems, with the ability to learn current platforms quickly
Attention to detail and a commitment to compliance with Australian payroll legislation and superannuation requirements

Preferred Qualifications
Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Payroll Administration, or a related field
Experience working in a payroll or HR function within an accounting or financial services environment
Familiarity with PAYG withholding, superannuation guarantee obligations, and ATO reporting requirements
