Senior Manager, Student Wellbeing
UNSW College is seeking an experienced and student‐centered leader to oversee wellbeing, welfare and Under 18 support services.
This is a key strategic role that drives the delivery of high‐quality, compliant, and culturally responsive wellbeing support for our diverse international and domestic student community.
Key responsibilities
de:Providing strategic and operational leadership across Student Wellbeing, U18 and Accommodation servic
es.Overseeing critical incident and crisis responses, including after‐hours escalati
on.Designing and implementing inclusive, evidence‐based wellbeing progra
ms.Managing mental health assessments, referral pathways and case management process
es.Ensuring regulatory compliance across all wellbeing operations, reporting and documentati
on.Building strong partnerships with UNSW Health, Security, Psychology & Wellness, Equitable Learning Services and other stakeholde
rs.Delivering insights, reporting and recommendations that inform organisational strate
About you
You are an experienced wellbeing or mental health leader with qualifications in Social Work or Psychology (AASW or AHPRA registration required).




You bring expertise in case management, crisis intervention, student wellbeing, and compliance in a higher‐education or similar setting.
You're a confident communicator and have a strong track record in leading teams and working across organisations, through complex and fast‐paced situations with professionalism and empathy.
