About the Role
This is a day-shift position overseeing end-to-end production on a key manufacturing line.
You'll be responsible for leading the daily operation, ensuring output, quality and safety standards are met, and supporting continuous improvement as the site grows.
It's a hands‐on supervisory role where your leadership on the floor, ability to troubleshoot, and drive for consistency will make a real impact.
Location: Western Suburbs, Melbourne
Shift: 5.00 am – 2.00 pm
Responsibilities
Lead, coach and mentor production staff during day shift operations.
Coordinate daily schedules, labour allocation and production run performance.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety, quality and allergen‐control procedures.
Ensure compliance with site WHS standards and drive a safe working culture.




Oversee documentation, batch records and reporting requirements.
Identify and support opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction.
Champion communication on the floor and foster a positive team environment.
What They're Looking For
Third level degree qualification – demonstrating capability, analytical thinking and a growth mindset.
Experience as a Production Supervisor or Senior Operator in FMCG, food, beverage, meat, or similar manufacturing.
Solid Continuous Improvement background – data‐driven decision making.
Strong people leadership – confident, approachable, and able to set clear expectations.
Hands‐on mindset with a willingness to be out on the floor.
Familiarity with HACCP, GMP and food‐safety systems.
Organised, proactive and capable of managing a busy, fast‐paced operation.
Someone who thrives in a growing business where you can influence processes and culture.
