Marine Mechanical Fitter - Fishing Vessel Maintenance
Seeking a trade-qualified Marine Mechanical Fitter to service and maintain commercial fishing vessels. This hands-on role involves diagnostics, fault finding, breakdown repairs and scheduled maintenance across a range of marine mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
Perform breakdowns and preventative maintenance.
Service and repair winches, pumps, anchors and deck equipment.
Maintain refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
Inspect, troubleshoot and maintain vessel mechanical systems.
Complete work safely and to a high standard.

Essential Requirements
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or Marine Mechanical Fitter.
Solid diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Experience maintaining commercial or marine mechanical equipment.
White Card.
Confined Space Entry.
Working at Heights.
Current driver's licence.
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
