About the DepartmentThe department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration.
The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 current early learning centres.About the DivisionThe Workforce, System and Family Supports Division in the Early Childhood Education Group leads the implementation of policy and programs to support the implementation of the Best Start Best Life Reforms, with a focus on increasing the supply of the early childhood education workforce.TeamThe Practitioner and Leadership Development team is responsible for:delivering professional learning, communities of practice and engagement opportunities for early childhood leaders and teachers via the Early Years Learning Networks for teachers and educators, and the Early Learning Leadership Forums and Evening Leadership Series for sector leaders.coordinating the development of content for early childhood leadership events and event logisticscontract management of suppliers contributing to early childhood leadership eventsprogram evaluation, including data collection, analysis and reportingcontinuous improvement of the Practitioner and Leadership Development program.About the RoleThis is a fixed term position until 3 August ****.As the successful applicant, you will contribute to program implementation, contract administration, event planning and coordination, evaluation and stakeholder engagement.You will be responsible for collecting, quality assuring and analysing data associated with events and projects, report on survey responses and project outcomes,
and provide data management support to ensure successful program delivery.Experience using PowerBI to provide reports and build dashboards is highly regarded.AttributesApplicants with experience with one or more of the following are strongly encouraged to apply:Planning, organisation and attention to detailRelationship buildingInitiative and accountability and self managementVerbal and written communication.Desirable Qualifications and ExperienceExperience in program or project administration, and/or contract administration is desirable.
