About therole:
Opportunity for a General Paediatrician or Community Paediatrician to join our multidisciplinary paediatric team as a casual locum for outpatient services.
Current opportunity for regular clinics at our Melton Health campus between September **** and March **** for up to 2 days per week.Western Health regularly has opportunities for outpatient locum work at each of our sites; Melton Health, Bacchus Marsh Hospital, and Sunshine Hospital.
Aboutyou:
You will have FRACP-recognised qualifications in Paediatrics and Child Health and hold AHPRA specialist registration.
You will have experience in the assessment and management of complex behavioural or developmental conditions, including autism spectrum disorders.
You will have a strong commitment to client-centred care and encourage consumer participation, shared decision-making and continuity of care.
You will contribute to a positive organisational culture and role model professionalism with respect to respectful collaboration, effective.
communication, and ethical clinical care within the multidisciplinary team.
You will actively participate in teaching and supervision of peers, Junior Medical Staff and medical students.
