The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality or accommodation professional to take the reins as Park Manager at Discovery Parks Robe with opportunities to contribute to the future growth and development of the park.
You'll have the chance to bring your ideas, identify opportunities and play a key role in shaping the property's future success and ongoing evolution.
As Park Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall operation and performance of the property, leading a energetic team and creating exceptional experiences for every guest who walks through the gates.
You'll combine commercial acumen with genuine hospitality, taking ownership of financial performance, team development, guest satisfaction, compliance and day-to-day operations.
Working closely with the wider G'day Group network, you'll have the support and resources of Australia's largest park network while enjoying the autonomy of managing a beautiful coastal property.
This is a hands‐on leadership role where you'll be visible across the park,
build strong relationships with your team and guests, and have the opportunity to make a real difference to the success of the property.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Lead the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the park, including after-hours callouts
Lead, coach and develop the team, fostering a positive and high-performing culture
Deliver an exceptional guest experience and manage feedback and reviews
Drive revenue, occupancy and financial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting and cost control
Ensure the park, accommodation and facilities are maintained to a high standard
Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and regulatory requirements
Drive local marketing, partnerships and community engagement to grow the park
Build strong relationships with guests, staff, suppliers, local businesses and key stakeholders
Identify opportunities to improve operations, guest experience and profitability
Work collaboratively with the wider G'day Group network
Take a hands‐on approach and lead by example across all areas of the park
About you
We're looking for a standout Park Manager who is passionate about hospitality, loves leading people and is ready to take ownership of an incredible coastal property.
You'll be a confident, commercially minded leader who understands that successful park management is about much more than financial results.
You'll know how to build a great team, create memorable guest experiences, manage operational challenges and develop strong relationships within the local community.
Skills and experience include:
Demonstrated skills and experience in hospitality, accommodation, resort or caravan park management
Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience in people management, coaching and development
Proven ability to manage budgets, financial performance, revenue generation, cost control and reporting
Advanced computer skills with experience using RMS or similar reservations/property management systems
Strong operational and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
Sound understanding of health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
Commercially focused with the ability to identify opportunities and drive business performance
A hands‐on leadership style with the confidence to get involved across all areas of the park
Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and after-hours when required
A current driver's licence
