What's the role about?
Based in our Auburn Device Care Centre, and in a permanent full time capacity, this role will see you:
Defect validation with customer complaints
Investigate and validate reported defects in mobile devices based on customer complaints
Perform manual functional tests on phones to confirm the presence and nature of the defect
Accurately process product returns in the internal system
Maintain up-to-date records of return transactions for tracking purposes
Create and manage return orders using Assurant software
Adherence to QA SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
Participate in regular training and updates to stay aligned with the latest QA practices
Record inspection results and elevate any deviations or non-conformities
Promote a quality-first mindset, accountability, and clear communication within the team
Participate in regular training sessions to stay aligned with the latest QA practices and tools
Contribute to team discussions and initiatives aimed at improving QA processes and customer satisfaction
Does this sound like you?
Experience in mobile device testing or consumer electronics QA preferred
QA experience in warehousing or logistics environment highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to follow defined processes and procedures accurately
Positive organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
Basic proficiency in using computers and inventory management systems
Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing for extended periods and handling devices
