Full-time, continuing position $121,213 - $136,507 + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements Based At the Melbourne City campus, with hybrid working arrangements
About You
Are you passionate about building meaningful relationships and creating opportunities that make a lasting impact?
As an Alumni Specialist at RMIT, you will lead the development and delivery of innovative alumni engagement initiatives for one of our Colleges, connecting alumni with students, academics, industry leaders, the wider university community and each other.
This is a highly relationship-focused role where you will work closely with College leadership to identify priorities, shape engagement strategies and create experiences that strengthen alumni connection, belonging and involvement.
You will thrive in this role if you enjoy building communities, creating meaningful connections and turning great ideas into action.
Working alongside College leaders, academics and key stakeholders, you'll identify opportunities for alumni to contribute through mentoring, industry engagement, guest speaking, advisory boards and other high-impact initiatives.
Your work will help strengthen lifelong connections with RMIT while creating valuable outcomes for alumni, students and staff.
To be successful in this position, you'll have:
A proven ability to build and grow meaningful relationships that create value for organisations and communities.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to connect with a wide range of people and influence positive outcomes.
Experience designing and delivering engaging programs, initiatives or experiences that support strategic goals and encourage participation.
The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Experience managing stakeholder or customer relationships through CRM systems and using data to improve engagement outcomes.
Preferred candidates will also be required to undertake relevant pre-employment background checks, including Working With Children Checks.
Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.
