About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Research Operations team at The Royal Children's Hospital to support clinical research across the Melbourne Children's Campus.
This is a part-time, Fixed Term (12-Month Maternity Leave Cover) commencing in November.
Reporting to the CNC Research & Clinical Trials, you will work closely with key stakeholders including Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI), the Centre for Health Analytics, and EMR teams to support research governance, data integrity, system improvement, and regulatory reporting.
This role is responsible for:
providing expert support, education, and advice to researchers using the Electronic Medical Record (Epic) for research activities
acting as the key liaison between researchers, clinicians, research support departments, the Precinct EMR Research Team, and the RCH EMR Team
ensuring research workflows are effective, compliant, and optimised
administration and ongoing management of the Melbourne Children's Campus Departments and Ethics Research Platform (MCC DERP), a REDCap-based system that supports governance, oversight, and reporting of all research and quality improvement projects conducted across the campus
Depending on experience and qualifications, this will range from AO61 (Grade 6, Level 1) to AO65 (Grade 6, Level 5), $113,****** to $114,****** per annum, pro rata for part time, plus superannuation.
Tertiary qualification in a related field OR relevant industry experience
Experience in Clinical Research within a healthcare setting




Experience using an electronic medical records system (EPIC experience is advantageous)
Experience in writing policies & procedures, developing and providing education, participating on committees is desireable
