Maintenance Supervisor
, you will be working closely alongside the residents and fellow staff, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair tasks around our retirement village.
No two days are the same.
From completing repairs and maintenance tasks to coordinating contractors and helping maintain our beautiful grounds and facilities, you'll be at the heart of creating an environment that residents are proud to call home.
This role is perfect for someone with a trade background or strong maintenance experience who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, solving problems, and building positive relationships.

This is a permanent full time position working Monday to Friday (8:00am-4:00pm)
Your Impact
Work with the Aveo Facilities team and contractors to ensure external works are attended to and completed to a high standard
Conduct regular inspections around the village to rectify any maintenance defects and issues
Performing small plumbing maintenance, including replacing taps and washers
Supporting the upkeep of external assets such as lighting and sprinkler systems
Carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance across the community
Managing community tools and equipment to ensure they are safe, organised and fit for purpose
Prepare and program access swipes for residents or family members
Recording maintenance activities,notesand job updates
Being a friendly and approachable presence for residents while working closely with a supportive team
Whatyou'llbring
Experience in a general maintenance or trade‐based role, including hands‐on handyperson tasks
A proactive, solutions‐focused approach, with the ability to assess issues, troubleshoot andtake action
An understanding of maintenance cycles and the expected lifespan of equipment and village assets
Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to explain maintenance works in a resident‐friendly way
Outstanding attention to detail
A positive, approachable attitude anda strong senseof pride in your work
A valid driver's licence (essential)
Minimum of two (2) COVID-19 vaccinations (required)
