Contract Details: Full-time; Salary $75,000 to $80,000 per annum plus super.

Cock & Bull Cairns is seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and high-quality dishes that will delight our customers and keep them coming back for more. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, according to restaurant recipes and standards.
n
Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely and efficient manner.
n
Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed.
n
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
n
Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and specials.
n
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
n
Adhere to all company policies and procedures,



including health and safety regulations.
n
Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
n

Requirements:
n
n
Minimum of 12 months of experience as a Chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
n
Certificate IV/Diploma in Cookery is preferable.
n
Robust knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
n
Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
n
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
n
Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
n
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
n
Availability to work weekends and evenings as required.
n
