Due to continued growth across Queensland, Linkforce is seeking experienced Supervisors and Leading Hands to work at our operation in the Bowen Basin.
This is a casual position offered on an ongoing long-term roster working a lifestyle-friendly 7/7 roster.
October start.
About the Role
We are seeking experienced Leading Hands/Supervisors to lead our close-knit, high-performing team, delivering efficient and compliant structural remediation and maintenance services to the onsite Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP).
Your responsibilities will include:
Supervising works to ensure all is completed to the client and company specifications
Leading a team of trade and non-trade personnel to accomplish key deliverables
Liaising with Linkforce clients and site-based personnel
Planning and scheduling work and labour requirements
Monitoring progress against the work schedule
Leading by example on the tools, promoting safety, quality workmanship, and productive work
Ensuring adherence to all statutory requirements and company HSEQ standards and procedures
What You'll Need




We are looking for qualified and safety-focused Supervisors and Leadiong Hands who thrive in fast-paced shutdown and maintenance environments.
Essential:
Minimum of 2 years leadership experience in Shutdown as Leading Hand or Supervisor
Heavy Fabrication or Mechanical Fitting trade qualification (AU/NZ recognised)
G1/8/9 (previously S1/2/3) & G2 supervisor competencies
Working at Heights & Confined Space (within 2 years)
Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
Current Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
BMA Core Inductions or SC Number is Highly Advantageous
Current Australian Driver's Licence - C class minimum
Clear communication and people skills
Ability to work effectively with site management and clients
An uncompromising commitment to workplace health and safety
