Halcyon Knights is recruiting on behalf of a South Australian State Government agency for an experienced Senior Human Resources Business Partner (ASO6) to join their team on a contract through to 30 June ****.
This newly created position offers an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the implementation of a new HR platform while contributing to broader strategic human resources initiatives across the agency.
The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to support the transition to a contemporary HR system designed specifically for the South Australian public sector.
The platform will manage key HR functions including recruitment, learning and development, performance management and succession planning.
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation, administration and ongoing optimisation of the agency's new HR platform.
Provide expertise in HR systems administration and contribute to successful change management activities.
Develop and deliver learning and development resources to support the rollout and ongoing use of the new system.
Review, develop and update HR policies and procedures in accordance with South Australian Public Sector requirements.
Provide high‐level human resources advice and support to managers and key stakeholders.




Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the People and Culture function.
About You
Significant experience within a Human Resources Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or similar position.
Experience implementing, administering or supporting Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
Strong knowledge of learning and development principles, including the development of training materials and resources.
Demonstrated experience supporting organisational change and transformation initiatives.
Experience reviewing and developing HR policies and procedures.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
Previous experience working within the South Australian Public Sector will be highly regarded.
