We're looking for a dynamic and values-led HR Director to join our ANZ Leadership Team.
Are you a strategic HR leader ready to drive culture, capability, and business performance?
We're seeking an experienced HR Director to join our ANZ Senior Leadership team and lead all aspects of the employee life cycle.
In this role, you'll develop and execute a local people strategy aligned with our business goals and global HR vision.
You'll be a trusted advisor to the Managing Director, Senior Leadership Team, and the wider business.
Location:Sydney CBD – hybrid working model
Reporting To:ANZ Managing Director & a dotted line to Director of Human Resources (APAC & Travel Retail)
Direct Reports:4 Direct Reports (Senior HR Advisor, HR Coordinator, Office Manager & Senior Payroll Officer)
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of HR and theemployee lifecycle
Lead and developthe HR Team, ensuring exceptional service delivery and team growth.
Act as astrategic business partner, advising the MD and Senior Leadership Team on people and organisational matters.
Design and implement alocalised HR strategyaligned with business goals and global frameworks.
Oversee thefull employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance, development, and offboarding.
Managecompensation and benefits, including annual salary and bonus reviews to maintain market competitiveness.
Ensure efficient and compliantHR operations, processes, and policies.
Handleemployee relationsand lead transformation or change initiatives as needed.
Overseepayroll accuracy and compliance, driving process improvements.
Manage the smooth running of theoffice and facilities, including budgets, fleet, security, and maintenance.
Foster a high-performing,



engaged culture throughemployee engagement initiatives, internal communication, and sustainability efforts.
About You
A minimum of 10 years HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial/supervisory position.
Bachelor's degree or qualification in HR or a related field.
Proven HR business partner with strong stakeholder influence and relationship management skills.
Experience managing / overseeing payroll
Excellent communicator with executive-level presentation and facilitation abilities.
Strong analytical and budget management skills.
Experienced in leading change and transformation initiatives.
Committed to service excellence, continuous improvement, and coaching others.
Highly organized, collaborative, and values-driven with a proactive leadership style.
