We are seeking asenior Denodo Lead Solution Architect & Product Ownerto take end-to-end ownership of amission-critical data virtualisation platformwithin a large enterprise FMCG environment.
This role sits within a managed services delivery team and combineshands-on architecture, platform ownership, and strategic leadership.
You will be responsible for running the platform reliably while driving itsnext phase of transformation, including performance optimisation, cloud integration, and data platform evolution.
Denodo acts as thecentral integration layeracross multiple ERP and enterprise systems, supporting downstream BI, analytics, and emerging data science capabilities.
This is a high-impact role with direct influence on business-critical reporting and planning functions.
Key Responsibilities
Own theDenodo platform end-to-end: backlog, roadmap, governance, and BAU operations
Design and deliverscalable data virtualisation architectureacross Azure and modern data platforms (Fabric, Databricks)
Define and enforce standards fordata modelling, caching, security, and access control
Leadplatform performance optimisation, including caching strategies and query tuning
EstablishCI/CD and version controlfor Denodo using Azure DevOps
Manage vendor engagement, includinglicensing, upgrades, and escalations
Overseeplatform operations: SLA adherence, incident management, and job orchestration
Act asL3/L4 escalation pointfor complex technical issues
Drivesecurity and governance,



including Azure AD integration and data access controls
Mentor and uplift capability acrossonshore and offshore team

Required Experience
5+ years ofhands‐on Denodo experienceat Solution Architect/Lead level
Strong expertise in: Data virtualisation and integration design; Caching, performance tuning, and optimisation; Security and governance models in Denodo
Strong knowledge ofAzure data ecosystem(ADLS Gen2, ADF, Synapse, Azure SQL)
Experience integratingSAP HANA or similar ERP systemswith Denodo
Experience with REST APIs and BI tools (Power BI essential)
Strong stakeholder management and ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes
Experience working inmanaged services or complex enterprise environments
Nice to Have
Exposure toDatabricks / Microsoft Fabric
Experience withDelta Lake / Parquet architectures
Complex orchestration using ADF
