About the Role:
Reporting to Head of Design
Responsible for the design and development of apparel product
You will collaborate with Designers across adjacent categories, as well as with the Head of Design, Product Developers and Buying team
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Creating and executing design concepts with a focus on colour and graphic direction
Trend forecasting and concept development, interpreting trends and translating them into commercial product deliveries.
Ahead of season sourcing – fabric and trims
Range building and sketching, presenting CADs and storyboards for design sign off
Creating thorough, detailed Tech Packs and inputting to PLM system
Working with a garment technician to perfect fits
Liaising with offshore suppliers
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
3+ years in a similar role




Thrives in a busy and fast paced environment
Demonstrated experience across product development within the retail industry
Solid design eye and be obsessed with fashion and lifestyle trends
Understanding of fashion and activewear fabrications, silhouettes and construction techniques
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent attention to detail
Must be organized with exceptional time management skills
Team-oriented and strong interpersonal skills
Experience with pre-production approval processes – lab dips, strike offs, prototyping, sample approvals
Be customer focused, commercial and coordinate product ranges that both grow sales, and position our brand as best in market.
High level of proficiency with Adobe Creative suite

This is a print driven role – if you are someone who is passionate about this, and can create their own prints and repeats, that would be highly advantageous
