The Role: We're looking for aLead Data Consultantto drive complex data migration initiatives within the banking sector.
This is a role in a high-impact transformation program, requiring both technical expertise and strategic insight.
You'll be deeply involved in solution design and hands-on delivery, while also guiding clients on best practices, migration roadmaps, and risk mitigation strategies.
Your ability to translate intricate technical concepts into explicit, board-level communication will be a key differentiator.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead data migration planning and executionacross large-scale banking platforms (core systems, reporting layers, regulatory datasets, etc.).
Engage directly withsenior business and technical stakeholdersto define migration scope, approach, and success criteria.
Analyze existing data landscapes anddevelop fit-for-purpose migration strategies, aligned to business risk appetite and timelines.
Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and PMs to ensureseamless migration deliveryacross multiple phases.




Serve as thetrusted advisorto clients guiding them through critical decision points on tooling, sequencing, validation, and cutover.
Identify risks, dependencies, and remediation strategies across the migration lifecycle.
Prepare and presentclear, concise migration plans and status updatesto executive audiences.
Ensure alignment with regulatory, privacy, and data governance frameworks.
What You'll Bring
Proven track record deliveringend-to-end data migrationsin banking or financial services.
Deep familiarity withdata structures, ETL tools, cleansing/validation, and cutover strategies.
Strong capability instakeholder managementacross business, operations, and IT.
Experience working inconsulting-style environmentsor internal transformation teams.
Excellent documentation, reporting, andexecutive-level communication skills.
