Business Intelligence Specialists – Qlik Cloud

We are seeking two experienced Business Intelligence Specialists to deliver a production-ready Qlik Cloud environment, including the migration of existing Qlik applications, replacement of legacy reporting capability, implementation of governance standards and transition to business-as-usual support.
n
This is a hands-on delivery role suited to BI specialists with strong experience across Qlik, Qlik Cloud and Microsoft SQL Server, combined with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Migrate existing Qlik Sense applications from on-premise infrastructure to Qlik Cloud.
n
Migrate and enhance existing data models.
n
Validate application functionality, performance and data integrity following migration.
n
Optimise applications and reporting solutions for the Qlik Cloud environment.
n
n
Reporting & Platform Capability
n
n
Replace existing Qlik nPrinting reports with equivalent Qlik Cloud reporting solutions.
n
Configure equivalent GeoAnalytics functionality within Qlik Cloud.
n
Develop interactive dashboards and reporting solutions that meet business requirements.
n
n
Governance & Administration
n
n
Define and implement change and release management processes.
n
Implement an agreed role-based access control model.
n
Configure audit, monitoring and administrative capabilities.
n
Support effective management of Qlik Cloud spaces, roles and permissions.
n
n
Standards & Documentation
n
n
Establish development standards and naming conventions.
n
Develop data modelling and dashboard design standards.




n
Produce administration runbooks, technical documentation and support procedures.
n
Document processes required for ongoing BAU management of the platform.
n
n
Training & Transition
n
n
Develop and deliver user training materials and sessions.
n
Provide administrator training and structured handover sessions.
n
Transfer knowledge to internal support teams.
n
Provide supporting documentation to enable successful transition to BAU operations and business ownership.
n
n
Essential Experience To be successful, you will demonstrate:
n
n
A solid track record developing interactive Qlik dashboards and reports.
n
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing physical data models in Microsoft SQL Server.
n
Highly developed data communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to stakeholders with varying levels of data literacy.
n
An understanding of, or ability to quickly develop knowledge of, the sensitivities associated with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander data, including the ability to communicate and manage such data respectfully, appropriately and in a culturally informed manner.

Highly Desirable
n
n
Demonstrated Qlik Cloud tenant administration experience, including management of spaces, roles and access permissions.
n
Experience with Qlik Automate, including automation workflows, notifications, integrations and webhooks.
n
Experience migrating Qlik Sense applications from on-premise environments to Qlik Cloud.
n
Experience replacing or modernising Qlik nPrinting reporting solutions.
n
Strong understanding of BI governance, release management and production support practices.
