Contract GCP Consultant
Contract engagement | Immediate start | Sydney-based project
We're working with a leading organisation undertaking aconsolidation of two environmentsinto a single, best-practice cloud environment.
This is ahigh-impact, time-sensitive projectrequiring a hands-onGCP expertwho can hit the ground running.
The Role
You will play a key role in delivering aseamless migration and consolidation project, leveragingGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP)expertise to optimise the environment and ensure best-practice configurations.
A solid focus onInfrastructure as Code (IaC)andCI/CD automationwill be essential to streamline deployments and maintain consistency.
This is aconsultative and delivery-focused role, working with an internal IT team and liaising with key stakeholders to ensure technical excellence and zero disruption.
Key Skills & Experience
Proven expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)– architecture, deployment, and optimisation.
Hands-on experience with IaC tools(Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar).
Strong CI/CD pipeline knowledge(Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build).
Experience withcloud-based identity and access management(e.g., Entra ID, AD, Microsoft 365).
Ability to work infast-paced, project-based engagementswith minimal ramp-up time.
