About the role
The Centre Leader runs the service.
You are accountable for quality, compliance, people, families and the commercial performance of the centre.
You will report to an Area Manager or Cluster Support Manager.
What you will do
Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, the Thrive Quality Framework, the National Regulations and workplace health and safety at all times
Lead daily operations and give clear direction to your team
Manage enrolments, tours and family onboarding to attract, convert and retain families
Deliver and monitor learning programs aligned to the EYLF or MTOP and centre philosophy
Lead continuous improvement through an active Quality Improvement Plan
Support and mentor the Educational Leader
Recruit, induct and onboard your team, and build a culture of feedback, coaching and recognition
Manage performance constructively and build succession pipelines
Develop and deliver the Centre Business Action Plan to achieve occupancy, labour and financial targets
Manage the budget, rostering and resource use in line with business objectives
Build robust relationships with families and engage with your local community
What you will bring
ACECQA approved qualification in early childhood education: Diploma/ Bachelor degree
Current ACECQA approved anaphylaxis and asthma training
Valid Working with Children Check for the state the role is based in
Accredited child protection training
Minimum three years' leadership in early childhood or a similar role




Strong business and financial management experience
Proven ability to lead teams, hit targets and manage compliance
Sound knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, the National Quality Standard, the Early Years Learning Framework, the WHS Act, the Privacy Act, child protection legislation, the Fair Work Act and family assistance law
Experience as a Nominated Supervisor 3 years+
Experience with the Child Care Subsidy system
Experience In leadership role 5 years +
