We're looking for an experienced Demi Chef to join our kitchen team at Lana, in the heart of Sydney CBD.
This casual role is a great opportunity to bring your skills and passion for food into a high-quality, fast-paced kitchen.
About the Venue
Located by Circular Quay at the historic Hinchcliff House, Lana encapsulates effortless, modern Italian dining with Asian flavours and the finest Australian produce.
Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with preparation and presentation of dishes
Ensure food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and hygiene
Contribute creative ideas to menu planning and development
Maintain a clean, organised kitchen in line with health and safety regulations
Support the team during service to ensure timely, efficient delivery
Help train and develop junior kitchen staff
About You




Previous experience as a Demi Chef or similar
Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications
Strong food safety and hygiene knowledge
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Great communication and teamwork skills
A passion for food and a creative approach to cooking
