The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer to be work across the design, specification, and delivery of structural engineering services across various structures including commercial, industrial, data centre, infrastructure and defence building projects.
Your role will involve the design of structural systems and foundations constructed from concrete, steel, and other engineered materials, as well as buildings, retaining structures, and associated infrastructure.
Who are you?
As a Structural Engineer you will be able to perform all conventional aspects of structural engineering.
You will be able to evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptions and modifications.
Other requirements are:
Experience in the practice of structural engineering in a consulting environment.
Background in design of commercial, industrial, data centre, infrastructure and/or defence buildings
Ability to prepare and check design calculations using either manual methods or with the aid of computer applications such as Space Gass, RAPT, RAM Concept and ETABs.
Ability to prepare and check structural calculations, technical reports,
and specifications
Competence in delivering work according to budget, schedule and quality requirements
Ability to liaise with peers, subordinates, clients, suppliers, statutory authorities and other consultants
Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering or an equivalent as well as ability to obtain / working towards CPEng registration
Full Australian working rights and ability to obtain baseline clearance
