Role Overview
Join CAE's Defence & Security training development team as a Multimedia Developer supporting the AIR**** program.
In this role, you'll create engaging digital learning content that enables Defence personnel to develop and maintain critical operational capabilities.
Working alongside Instructional Designers, Courseware Developers and Subject Matter Experts, you'll leverage leading multimedia technologies to deliver innovative eLearning solutions for complex aviation training environments.
You'll have the opportunity to work on advanced Defence aviation platforms, contribute to high-profile national capability programs, and help shape the future of military training through immersive and interactive learning experiences.
Description
I create multimedia assets including artwork, illustrations, animations and video content for Defence training solutions.
I develop and modify interactive digital learning content using industry-leading multimedia development tools.
I collaborate with Instructional Designers, Courseware Developers and Subject Matter Experts to ensure learning content is engaging, accurate and instructionally effective.
I support the development of simulation-based graphics and interactive training environments.
I manage competing priorities to deliver multimedia products on schedule and to a high standard.
I contribute to innovation and standardisation across Defence training programs and multimedia development activities.
Minimum Qualifications
Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 Security Clearance.
Minimum 5 years' experience in multimedia development for training environments.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
Experience using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate or Lectora.
Working knowledge of HTML5 and xAPI.
Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent video editing software.
Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Solid communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
Ability to work from our Homebush, NSW or Brisbane, QLD office in a hybrid working capacity.
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma, Certificate or tertiary qualification in Multimedia, Digital Design, Instructional Design or a related discipline.
Experience with Unreal Engine or Unity.
Experience developing content for Defence, aviation or highly regulated industries.
Knowledge of Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS) and learning technologies.
Experience supporting large-scale programs with demanding delivery schedules.
Technical writing experience.
Previous experience developing interactive computer-based training solutions.
Location
Location: Homebush, NSW or Brisbane, QLD.
We operate a hybrid working approach.
Your role may involve occasional domestic travel to support customers, partners and program delivery activities.
