About the opportunity
The University of Tasmania is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Manager, Curriculum Analytics and Partnerships to play a pivotal role within our Learning and Teaching Performance team.
Working closely with the Director, Performance Optimisation, you will lead the development and implementation of innovative analytics tools, performance monitoring frameworks, and digital solutions that support curriculum quality and continuous improvement across the University.
You will combine strategic insight with operational leadership to ensure academic leaders can access meaningful data and tools that inform decision-making and strengthen student outcomes.
What you'll do
Lead the development and continuous improvement of curriculum analytics platforms, dashboards, workflows, and monitoring tools.
Support evidence-based decision-making through the use of data, emerging technologies, and performance insights.




Partner with academic leaders and professional staff to strengthen curriculum quality and institutional performance.
Manage key external partnerships, including the University's relationship with Open Universities Australia (OUA).
Drive the adoption of curriculum performance frameworks that support quality assurance, governance, and compliance requirements.
Provide leadership and guidance within Performance Optimisation, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
What we're looking for
Demonstrated experience leading complex projects, programs, or initiatives in a large organisation.
Strong analytical capability and experience designing or implementing digital tools, reporting solutions, or performance frameworks.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively across diverse groups.
The ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery.
Experience driving change, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent professional experience.
Salary details
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 9 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $160,613 comprising base salary within the range of $130,242 to $137,276 plus 17% superannuation.

To be eligible for this position, you are required to hold Australian or New Zealand Citizenship, permanent residency or a valid visa that enables you to fulfil the requirements of this role.
