Early Childhood Teacher
position at
Jan Juc Pre School
to commence in
Term One ****

Early Childhood Teacher Hours
37.5 hours per week
25 hours contact time (as below)
plus 12.5 hours non-contact time
Contact time
Monday 8:30am to 4:00pm
Tuesday 8:30am to 4:00pm
Wednsesday 8:30am to 4:00pm
Thursday 8:30am to 4:00pm
Friday Planning
Successful candidates in this role may be eligible for Victorian Government financial incentives.

What you will bring to the role
We are currently looking for an Early Childhood Teacher who is compassionate, dedicated and driven to making a positive impact on the lives of our local community members and their families.
To thrive in this role you will have:
Knowledge of early childhood development and practice
Knowledge of approved learning frameworks, National Quality Framework and national law and regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Key selection criteria
Mandatory qualifications, experience and requirements
Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (AQECQA approved)
A current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration (VIT)
Demonstrated ability to plan,
implement and evaluate a quality educational program in accordance with approved learning frameworks.
Demonstrated knowledge of the National Quality Framework and quality improvement process in children's services.
Demonstrated ability to adopt an creative, flexible approach to the provision of children's services.
Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and contribute towards the development of a productive team culture.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A current level II First Aid qualification, including Asthma, Anaphylaxis and CPR.
Demonstrated understanding of the Child Safe Standards and information sharing/MARAM reforms.
Ability to manage risks and identify health and safety issues pertaining to workplace.
