Senior Accounts Payable Officer

About the role

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day AP operations, resolving complex issues and supporting the wider finance team.

Your responsibilities will include:
Processing and overseeing supplier payments accurately and on time
Ensuring invoices and payments meet relevant financial compliance requirements
Investigating and resolving complex invoice discrepancies and supplier queries
Mentoring and supporting other members of the Accounts Payable team
Supporting audit preparation and maintaining accurate financial records
Monitoring invoice volumes, processing performance and compliance




Identifying opportunities to improve Accounts Payable processes and systems

We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable skilled who enjoys being the person others can rely on.

You will ideally have:
5+ years' experience in Accounts Payable
Strong knowledge of finance systems, invoice portals and Excel
MYOB or ERP experience is desirable
Previous experience mentoring or guiding team members
Solid attention to detail and a solutions-focused approach
A genuine interest in process improvement and finding better ways of working
