Position Description
The Social Media Manager will work closely with clients to build their brand identity and presence across social media.
They'll have their finger on the pulse with all things social media — from best-practice, trends, to platform updates — and use this knowledge to manage social content from concept to delivery.
Responsibilities
Content Management- write, plan and create content for always-on social media activity
Account Management- manage content approvals and run client WIPs
Social Strategy- monitor insights, results and trends to continuously improve content performance and identify opportunities for clients
Social Leadership- develop relationships with platforms and keep the agency up to date with trends, updates and insights
Social Media Management- publish content and manage communities




Content Creation- collaborate with production teams to get content made
Skills
Understands youth culture and can spot a trend on social as it emerges
Talented copywriter that understands how to write for different audiences
Passion for social-first video content with understanding of best specs, lengths and practices
Translates learnings and insights into effective strategies
Confident briefing and providing feedback to editors, designers and creators to ensure content is on-brand and fit-for-channel
Strong organisational and communication skills, capable of multi-tasking
Detail oriented with quality control of all work
Receptive to feedback and empathetic in approach
Listens to clients and understands their challenges and how we can help solve them
Can create content on the tools if needed (e.g. Premiere Pro, Canva, CapCut, basic filming)
