Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor (Off-the-Floor)
We are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Educator to join our collaborative team as anOff-the-Floor Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor.

About the Role
As Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service while leading, guiding, and supporting a dedicated team of educators.
You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and care programs that support children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service.
Lead, mentor, and support a team of educators.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and quality standards.
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
Build strong relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of education and care.
Support educators in their professional growth and development.

Essential Criteria
Qualification in Early Childhood Eduation & Care from an approved training organisation (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA)
An understanding of the Office for the Children's Guardians child safe scheme & child safe standards
Demonstrated commitment to child safety
Current "Provide an Emergency First Aid response in an Education and Care Setting" qualification
Current ACECQA approved Anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management training
Accredited Child Protection and Child Safe Training
Teacher Accreditation as per state/territory requirements if applicable
Demonstrated knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, Education and Care Services National Law *****), Education and Care Services National Regulations *****), Family Assistance Law (Child Care Subsidy ****)
Demonstrated ability within the role of responsible person
Demonstrated knowledge and ability to effectively observe, dynamically program and plan for group and individual children
The ability to develop and maintain positive and culturally respectful relationships with families, children and staff
Demonstrated understanding of leadership and leading a team successfully
Demonstrated knowledge of current early childhood theories of practice
Demonstrated ability to develop strategies to guide positive children's behavior
Desirable
Training in working with children who have trauma backgrounds
Experience in working with Aboriginal children and/or organisations
Required if successful
Undertake a police check
Hold a current Working With Children's Check
Approved Child Safe Training
